QUICK ANSWERS TO ALL YOUR QUESTIONS

Can a foreigner buy property in Albania?

Yes, as a foreigner you can buy real estate in Albania with virtually no restrictions. Only agricultural land larger than 1,000 m² requires a local company.

What is the down payment for new construction?

For new construction, a 30% down payment is required. On the second-hand market this is typically 10%. Remaining payment within 1 week of signing.

How long does the purchasing process take?

Payment within 1 week of preliminary contract. Property transfer and registration: max. 30 working days.

What types of properties are available?

In our projects (Palase, Radhime, Vlore City): 1+1 to 3+1 and duplex. Prices: €1,800/m² (Vlore City) to €3,000/m² (Radhime, sea view).

What are the purchasing costs?

In addition to the purchase price: transfer tax (1%), notary fees (€150–€450), registration (€80) and broker commission (1–2%). Total typically 3–5% extra.

Is it safe and transparent to invest in Albania?

Albania has actively worked towards a transparent purchasing process for foreigners and is working towards EU integration. Inovia & Co guides you at every step.

Does Inovia & Co also arrange rental of my property?

Yes, we can help you with rental. Thanks to growing tourism there are excellent rental opportunities along the Riviera.
